The EU: Grain export in July declines significantly
According to preliminary date from the customs authorities, from the beginning of the season until August 1, 2017, only 941,000 tonnes of soft wheat were exported from the EU given 2.6 million tonnes a year earlier.

Barley export reached 171,000 tonnes at 879,000 tonnes in the previous year.

In July, soybean import to the EU was 1.04 million tonnes, down 29% compared to July 2016 or 1.45 million tonnes.

Import of soybean meal increased by 3% to 1.72 million tonnes and palm oil decreased by 8% to 388,000 tonnes.
