SAR will harvest a record corn crop
In 2017, SAR will harvest record corn crop – 16.412 million tonnes, due to good weather conditions after prolonged drought, according to СЕС.

The current forecast is 2.7% higher than the July forecast. Crop of white corn will be 9.653 million tonnes and yellow 6.759 million tonnes.

In 2016, total of 7.78 million tonnes of corn was harvested in the country, and the previous record was set at 14.656 million tonnes in 1981.
