According to a research of the Agroeconomic Institute in the Brazilian state Matto Grosso IMEA, in the current season corn crop in the state will reach 30.45 million tonnes, which is 59% more than the crop in 2015 – 2016.

Corn areas will grow by 9.7% to 4.73 million hectares. The high level of yields is also noted. For the second corn crop they reach 6.2 tonnes / ha, which is 3% more than the previous year. Compared to 2015 - 2016, the yields increase by 45% and the crops by 59%.
The record-high corn crop leads to a shortage of warehouses because they are filled with soybeans crop. By the end of July, farmers had sold 73% of the corn crop 2016-2017.
According to information from the agricultural department of the Brazilian state Parana, soybeans  in the state is harvested on 16% of the areas. In good and excellent condition are 49% of the crops, 33% in satisfactory condition and 18% in poor and very bad condition.

According to preliminary data from Trigo & Farinhas, wheat crop in the state will reach 2.59 million tonnes at Conab forecast of 2.48 million tonnes. In 2015 - 2016 the crop was 3.41 million tonnes.
