- During the week of March 1 - 7, 307,314 tons of Russian grain were exported from the Russian port of Novorossiysk, which is 31.8% less than the previous week and 39.7% less than the previous year. Exports were:

- According to the latest forecast of Strategie Grains, the ending stocks of rapeseed in the EU will be 1.1 million tons in 2020/21, which is 0.18 million tons less than the previous estimate and 0.8 million tons less than 2019/20. Rapeseed processing is expected to reach 24.2 million tons (+0.3 and +0.6). Rapeseed imports estimate was reduced by 0.19 million tons to last year's level of 6.5 million tons. In 2021/22, EU soybean production is estimated at 17.05 million tons (-0.09 and +0.8).
- According to USDA data, as of March 7, 2021 in Kansas, 36% of winter wheat crops are in good and excellent condition, which is 1% less than the previous week. In Texas, the figure is 27% (+1%) and in Oklahoma- 53% (+7%). In Kansas, drought has affected 47% of the wheat areas, compared to 42% a week earlier.
- Yesterday, commodity funds in Chicago were net buyers of 4,000 contracts of corn and 3,500 contracts of soybeans and net sellers of 4,500 contracts of wheat.
- In March, biodiesel consumption in Brazil will increase due to the increased mixtures of the biocomponent in the fuel - up to 13%. According to Oil World, contracts have already been signed for the supply of 1.4 million tons of biodiesel. In January, production was 428,000 tons compared to 451,000 tons in December and 409,000 tons in January 2020. For 2021, production is projected at 6.3 million tons (+0.7 million tons compared to 2020). During the year, soyoil consumption in Brazil will increase, which will reduce soyoil exports to 0.6 million tons (0.9 million tons in 2020).
- According to Anec's forecast, soybean exports from Brazil will reach a record 13.8 million tons in March compared to only 5.5 million tons in February and 13.3 million tons in March 2020. Soymeal exports are projected at 1.1 million tons compared to 1.5 million tons in March 2020. Given the low corn stocks, corn exports will only be 62,800 tons in March.
- In the period of January-February, 13.4 million tons of soybeans were imported to China, which is 0.8% less than the previous year.
- Pakistan has given up on buying 300,000 tons of wheat and the reason for the refusal was the high price. A new tender was announced on Monday for the purchase of 300,000 tons of wheat with delivery within April-August.
- Algeria has announced a tender for the purchase of at least 50,000 tons of soft wheat of any origin with delivery in March - April.
- In March and April, India is expected to import 600,000 tons of palm oil per month compared to 400,000 tons in February. Imports in February were the lowest for the last 10 months. At the end of February, India's crude oil stocks reached 265,000 tons (358,000 tons at the end of January).
- Saudi Arabia has purchased 660,000 tons of barley with delivery in March - April.
