- As of March 1, 2021, Russian farmers held wheat stcoks of 10,082 million tons, which is 22.5% more than the previous year and 17.2% more than the average level for the last five years.
- The Association of Farmers' Cooperatives in Germany projects the wheat production in the country in 2021 at 22.34 million tons, which is 1% more than in 2020. The corn production is expected to reach 3.89 million tons (-3.3%).

- On March 16, 2021, China bought 1.16 million tons of corn from the United States from the old crop. This is the biggest purchase since January.
