According to Oil World, Bulgaria has sold about 200,000 tons of sunseed meal to China with delivery this season.

- According to Oil World, Bulgaria has sold about 200,000 tons of sunseed meal to China with delivery this season. Half of the quantity has already been shipped and the rest will be exported in April-July. This is the first Chinese purchase of sunseed meal from Bulgaria. The forecast for the sunseed crush in Bulgaria in 2020/21 has been raised to 1.3 million tons. During the period August-December, 0.48 million tons of sunseeds were delivered to Bulgaria compared to 0.18 million tons a year earlier. This season, for the first time in history, the country could become a net importer of sunseed, importing a total of 830,000 tons.

- According to the forecast of the Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine, sunseed areas will reach 5.4 million hectares in 2021 compared to 6.383 million hectares in 2020. As of 01.03.2021, sunseed stocks in the country were 3.63 million tons (5.27).

- During the period of 01.07 - 28.03, 19.79 million tons of milling wheat were exported from the EU, which is 23% less than the previous year (25.62 million tons). During the week of March 22-28, exports decreased to 194,500 tons (526,600), including 89,800 tons from France, 49,400 tons from Latvia and 33,000 tons from Bulgaria. Exports of barley are 5.7 million tons (-7%) and corn imports reach 11.64 million tons (15.95) since the beginning of the season. Corn imports from Ukraine were 4.8 million tons and 4.43 million tons from Brazil .

- As of March 28, 2021, 50% of winter wheat crops are in good and excellent condition in Kansas, which is 5% more than the previous week. In Texas, 28% of crops (29%) are in the same condition. In Texas, 50% of the planned areas for corn have been sown (38% a week earlier and 46% on average for the last five years). In Oklahoma, 61% of winter wheat crops are in good and excellent condition, and 28% in Colorado (-5%).

- Yesterday, commodity funds in Chicago were net sellers of 16,000 contracts of corn and 6,000 contracts of soybeans and net buyers of 1,500 contracts of wheat.

- As of March 26, 2021, 95.7% of the planned areas for corn were sown in Brazil, which is 14.212 million hectares. A year earlier, the figure was 96.6%.

- The rains over Argentina in the last 10 days have significantly improved soil moisture in the country. However, rainfall could not improve the condition of soybeans and corn because they were late.

- The already declining phenomenon of La Niña has brought enough moisture to Australia, which will support wheat crops in the next three months. The sowing campaign of wheat will start in April.

- The harvesting campaign of wheat has started in Pakistan. The government expects a wheat production of 26.5m tons to fully meet domestic consumption.

- Algeria has announced a tender for the purchase of at least 50,000 tons of milled wheat with delivery in May.
