- During the period of 01.07.2020 - 28.03.2021, 440,000 tons of rapeseed meal were exported from the EU, which is 29% more than the previous year (340,000 tons). The largest exporters were:
- Romania - 179,900 tons
- France - 52,200 tons
- Sweden - 44,600 tons
The largest importers of EU rapemeal were:
- Norway - 147,000 tons
- Israel - 126,100 tons
- Morocco - 48,300 tons
During the period, soymeal exports reached 412,400 tons (+15%), including:
- the Netherlands - 136,200 tons
- Lithuania - 56,600 tons
- Germany - 48,800 tons
The largest importers of soymeal from the EU were:
- Switzerland - 103,600 tons
- Great Britain - 82,100 tons
- Uzbekistan - 58,600 tons
- Yesterday, commodity funds in Chicago were net sellers of 25,000 corn contracts, 16,000 soybean contracts and 9,500 wheat contracts.
- According to AgRural data, as of 25.03.2021, 71% of the soybean areas were harvested (+12% for the week) in Brazil. In Mato Grosso, the harvesting campaign of soybeans was carried out on 97.1% of the area.
- In February, Brazil imported 446,385 tons of wheat, which is 30.7% less than in January and 14.5% less than in February 2020. Almost 85% of the imports during the month came from Argentina.
- ANEC has lowered its estimate for March soybean exports from Brazil to 13.3 - 15.4 million tons from 13.3 - 16.2 million tons in their previous forecast. A year earlier, exports were 13.3 million tons. - South Korea purchased 80,000 tons of milled wheat from the United States and Canada with delivery in July.
- The Association of Feed Manufacturers in Thailand has announced a tender for the purchase of 504,000 tons of feed barley of any origin and delivery in May-December. A week earlier, a tender for the purchase of 403,000 tons of barley was canceled due to high prices.
- Jordan purchased 60,000 tons of feed barley of any origin at a price of USD 253/ton C&F and delivery at the end of October.
