- Yesterday, commodity funds in Chicago were net sellers of 2,500 contracts of corn, 12,500 contracts of soybeans and 3,000 contracts of wheat.
- The US-based meat processing company Perdue bought 31,450 tons of soybeans from Brazil. Given the limited supply of soybeans in the United States and high domestic prices, it is more cost-effective to accept supplies from Brazil on the east coast of the country.
