According to Oil World's forecast, global biodiesel production will increase by 2.1 million tons to 48.86 million tons in 2021 due to growth in production in the United States, Indonesia, China and Brazil.

- The Russian Ministry of Agriculture forecasts a grain production over 127.4 million tons in the country in 2021 including wheat production of 81 million tons.

- Over the period of June 9-15, the export tax on Russian wheat will be 29.4 USD/ton, 39.6 USD/ton for barley and 50 USD/ton for corn.

- As of 03.06.2021, 6.377 million hectares of sunseed have been sown in Ukraine compared to 6.383 million hectares in 2020.

- In May, 273,600 tons of soft wheat were exported from France, which is well below the level of April and is the lowest figure since 2009/10. The largest customers were Algeria with 212,900 tons, Cuba with 25,000 tons. Feed barley exports reached 236,500 tons (+40%).

- According to preliminary estimates of APC - Inform, 538,000 tons of wheat were exported from Kazakhstan in April 2021, which is 14% more than in March and 1.7 times more than in April 2020. Over the period of July - April, wheat exports reach 4.8 million tons (+21 %).

- On Thursday, commodity funds in Chicago were net sellers of 12,500 corn contracts, 7,500 soybean contracts and 6,000 wheat contracts.

- According to Statistics Canada, 691,700 tons of cereals and oilseeds were exported from Canada in the week of May 24-30 (904,500 tons a week earlier). Exports of wheat reached 187,500 tons (438,400), barley exports were 21,100 tons (175,500), canola exports were 156,800 tons (66,400) and corn exports reached 75,500 tons (38,600). Since the beginning of the season, wheat exports are 16.6 million tons (+18%), durum exports - 5.36 million tons (+25%), barley exports - 3.5 million tons (+98%), canola exports - 9.4 million tons 12%) and soybean exports reach 3.5 million tons (+ 45%).

- According to data from the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange, as of June 2, 2021, 15.79 million hectares of soybeans have been harvested in Argentina, which is 96.6% of the area. 42.44 million tons of soybeans were harvested at an average yield of 2.69 tons/hectare. 2.12 million hectares (34.1%) were harvested with corn, 17.95 million tons of corn were harvested at an average yield of 8.45 tons/hectare. Due to the drought, 1.11 million hectares were sown with wheat (17.1% of the plan compared to 30% a year earlier).
