As of July 19, 2021, 6 million hectares of wheat were harvested in Russia or 20.7 million tons at an average yield of 3.49 tons/hectare (3.47 t/ha a year earlier).

- As of 18.07.2021, 73% of the areas with winter wheat have been harvested in the United States (59% a week earlier and 74% on average for the last five years). 11% of the winter wheat crops (16% and 68%) and 65% of the corn crops  (65% and 69%) are in good and excellent condition.

- According to AgRural data, as of 15.07.2021, the second corn crop has been harvested on 30% of the areas in the central and southern parts of Brazil (+10% for the week and 43% a year earlier). The second corn production is expected to reach 59.1 million tons, which is 16 million tons less than the previous year.

- The authorities in Argentina are preparing a change in the consumption of biodiesel in the country. The mandatory blending level of diesel with the biocomponent will be reduced from 10% to 5%. This will allow for the export of more oil from the country.

- In June, China imported 10.48 million tons of soybeans from Brazil, which is 14% more than in May and 0.3% less than the record set in June 2020. The decrease is due to a reduction in the margin of Chinese processors. During the month, soybean deliveries from the United States were only 54,804 tons (-80%).

- At the end of last week, a group of Filipino importers bought 50,000 tons of feed wheat from the Black Sea region at a price of 287 USD/ton C&F and delivery within 04.09 - 24.09.2021.
