In September, exports of palm oil from Malaysia reached 1.63 million tons, which is 39.8% more than in August.

- As of October 4, 2021, 3.5 million hectares of cereals have been sown in Ukraine, which is 44% of the total planned areas for corn. 3.1 million hectares have been sown with wheat (46%) and 252,000 hectares (25%) have been sown with barley. 998,000 hectares (96%) were sown with winter oilseed rape.

- According to USDA data, as of October 3, 2021, 29% of the areas in the United States were harvested with corn (+11% for the week, 24% a year earlier and 22% on average for the last five years). Soybeans have been harvested on 34% of the areas (+18%, 35% and 26%). 47% of the planned areas (+13%, 50% and 46%) are sown with winter wheat.

- According to AgRural data, as of 30.09.2021, 4% of the planned soybean areas have been sown in Brazil (+0.7% for the week and 2% in 2020). The soybean areas are projected to reach 39.91 million hectares (+3.6% compared to 2020) and the soybean production is estimated at 141.26 million tons.

- According to data from Safras & Mercado, as of October 1, 2021, 4.38 million hectares were sown with corn for the first time in Brazil (37.2% and +8.1% for the week).

- In September, exports of palm oil from Malaysia reached 1.63 million tons, which is 39.8% more than in August. Oil stocks were 1.87 million tons at the end of the month (-0.36%), which is the lowest level for the last 14 months. Palm oil production reached 1.75 million tons in September (+ 2.8%), which is the highest level for the year.

- Jordan has announced a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of durum wheat of any origin and delivery within 16.01 - 15.03.2021.

- The state company of Egypt GASC received 6 offers for the sale of soyoil at prices within 1,381 - 1,443 USD/ton C&F and immediate payment. Delivery must take place within the period of 25.11 - 20.12.2021.
