The USDA has raised its forecast for the world's soybean production and the ending soybean stocks in 2021/22

In their October forecast, analysts from the USDA raised their forecast for the global soybean production in 2021/22 to 285.1 million tons (384.4 in September and 365.2 in 2020/21).

The soybean production in the United States will be 121.05 million tons (119 and 114.7). The soybean production in Argentina is projected at 51 million tons (52 and 46.2) and the soybean production in India is estimated at 11 million tons (11.2 and 10.4).

World's total soybean exports will reach 173.07 million tons (173.17 and 164.8).

The world's ending soybean stocks will be 104.5 million tons (98.9 and 99.1), including:

  • China - 35.9 million tons (34.9 and 33.7)
  • Brazil - 28.2 million tons (27.9 and 26.9)
  • Argentina - 25.7 million tons (24.6 and 25.7)
  • the United States - 8.7 million tons (5 and 6.9)
  • the EU - 0.9 million tons 1.07 and 1.09)
