Strategie Grains have lowered their forecast for the EU corn production in 2022/23 to 55.4 million tons (-10 compared to the previous estimate and -14.4 compared to 2021/22).

The soft wheat production will be 123.3 million tons (123.3 and -6.5) and barley production is projected at 50 million tons (+0.4 and -1.9).

- Chicago commodity funds were net buyers of 3,500 contracts of corn, 500 contracts of soybeans and 7,500 contracts of wheat yesterday.
