The Government of Russia introduces a quota for the export of grain from the country during the period 15.02.13.06.2023 in the amount of 25 million tons.
Over the period of January 1-30, 4.39 million tons of grain were exported from Russia (+100% compared to last year), including wheat exports of 3.74 million tons (+120%), corn exports of 492,000 tons (+58%) and barley exports of 124,000 tons (102,000).
IKAR estimates the need to resow areas with winter crops in Russia in the spring of 2023 in the amount of 1 million hectares (0.8 – 0.85 in the previous estimate).
