According to Oil World in 2017 – 2018 global sunflower oil production will fall by 0.3 million tonnes compared to 2016-2017, down to 18.4 million tonnes.
In 2017 – 2018 Ukraine remains a global leader in the sunflower production despite decline in crop compared to 2016 down to 13.5 million tonnes (13.86 million tonnes in 2016 – 2017). Forecast is made by Agritel - Kiev.
During the week September 11 – 17. 2017, according to Transagent, 512,573 tonnes of grain were exported from the Novorossiysk port, by 22% more than the previous week and by 200% more than the same week in 2016.
