USDA predicts that wheat import in Thailand will be 3.6 mln tons in 2016 - 2017, which is 23% lower than 2015 – 2016. 2.3 mln tons of wheat (+15%) have been imported in Thailand for the first five months of the season, including 1.8 mln tons of wheat fodder (+24%).

In 2016, grain harvest in Estonia was the lowest for the past five years – 934,000 tons. This is a 40% drop compared with 2015.

Iran imported 399,000 tons of soybean in October and November of 2016, which is over 100% higher than the previous year – 166,000 tons. Import will reach 1.9 - 2 mln tons for the span of the season. Soybean meal import was 555,000 tons (203 000) in the first quarter of 2016 - 2017, and it will reach 1.6 – 1.7 mln tons (+30%) until the end of season.
