APK – Inform reports that 681,400 tons of grain were exported from Russian sea ports between January 20 and January 26 compared with 423,700 tons a week earlier. 535,800 tons of wheat, 125,800 tons of corn and 19,800 tons of barley were exported.

Egypt with 136,900 tons, Turkey with 61,300 tons and Bangladesh with 55,000 tons were the biggest buyers.

Tranagent reports that 404,193 tons of grain were exported from the Russian port of Novorossiysk between January 23 and 29, 2017 which is 33.3% higher than the previous week and 44.6% higher than the corresponding week of 2016.

22.091 mln tons of grain were exported from Russia between the beginning of the season and January 25, 2017, which is 0.7% higher than the corresponding period of the previous year  – 21.942 mln tons. The export consisted of 17.215 mln tons of wheat (+4.5%), 2.774 mln tons of corn (+41%) and 1.953 mln tons of barley (-41.1%).

On January 1, 2017 39.126 mln tons of grain were in stock at Russian agricultural and processing companies compared with 34.551 mln tons a year earlier.
