Spanish analysts working for Agroinfomarket Agency project lower wheat yield in Spain in 2017 down to 6.07 mln tons upon 6.71 mln tons in 2016 including durum yield down to 932,000 tons from 989,000 tons.

Wheat consumption in the country will go down from 10.22 mln tons to 10.10 mln tons. 2017 – 2018 soft wheat ending stocks will be 675,000 tons with projected stocks of 851,000 tons in the current year.

Barley production will be 7.73 mln tons compared with 9.46 mln tons in 2016.

Corn production will be 3.36 mln tons (3.49).
