Import of vegetable oil in India increased in April
According to the Solvent Extractors'Association of India, in April the import of the product rose to 1.33 mln. tonnes given 1.2 mln. tonnes a year earlier.

Growth is achieved due to the completion of domestic stocks.

746,000 tonnes of palm oil (718,000), sunflower oil 235,000 tonnes - a record figure (101,000), soybean oil 305,000 tonnes (348,000) were purchased. Major part of the soybean oil is delivered from Argentina.
