Global rapeseed export increased during the period July - April 2016 - 2017 by 2 million tonnes
According to Oil World, the rapeseed export from the key 7 supplying countries increased during the period July - April 2016 - 2017 to14 million tonne, given 12.06 million tonnes a year earlier.

The major importer is the EU with record purchases of 4-59 million tonnes (3.25) followed by China - 3.48 million tonnes (3.5), Mexico - 1.31 million tonnes (1.12), UAE - 650,000 tonnes (463,000), Japan - 1.9 million tonnes (2.03).

The major exporter for the period was Canada with 9.25 million tonnes of rapeseed (8.48) followed by Australia - 3.35 million tonnes (1.87) and Ukraine - 1.01 million tonnes (1.4).

Throughout the entire 2016 – 2017 the global rapeseed export is expected to reach the record 16.1 million tonnes - by 1.6 million tonnes more than the previous season.
