Egypt's GASC buys 360,000 tonnes Romanian, Russian wheat

The Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on Saturday, June 10, bought 360,000 tonnes of wheat from Russia (240,000 tonnes) and Romania (120,000 tonnes) for July 10-20 delivery:

- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from GTCS at 204.02 $/mt c&f (192.77+11.25 freight);

- 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Cofco at 204.80 $/mt c&f (194.50+10.30 freight);

- 60,000 MT of Romanian wheat from Cerealcom at 204.99 $/mt c&f (194.69+10.30 freight);

- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Friends at 206.40 $/mt c&f (194.45+11.95 freight);

- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from AOS at 206.40 $/mt c&f (194.45+11.95 freight);

- 60,000 MT of Russian wheat from Aston at 206.45 $/mt c&f (194.50+11.95 freight)

It was the 29-th international tender since the start of the new fiscal year. GASC has bought 6.39 MMT (4.295 MMT from Russia, 1.2 MMT from Romania, 480 TMT from Ukraine, 180 TMT from France, 120 TMT from Argentina and 115 TMT from the US of wheat on the international market since July 1, the start of the 2016/17.
