Tunisia: 2.1 million tonnes of wheat are harvested
As of June 14th 2017 2.1 million tonnes of wheat are harvested in Tunisia, which is by 1/3 more than a year earlier.

 

The country's Ministry of Agriculture expects the wheat crop to reach 1.7 million tonnes. In Tunisia, mainly hard wheat is cultivated.

The USDA expects domestic wheat crop to reach 1.2 million tonnes (1.05 million tonnes in the previous season) and import - 2.0 million tonnes (1.8).
