Egypt’s state-owned GASC announced a tender for the purchase of 30,000 tonnes of soybean oil for August 15th -30th shipment.
The Philippines National Statistical Office lowered its forecast for corn crops in the country. The yield will be 1.317 million tonnes, which is 0.02 million tonnes less than the May forecast, but 44.4% more than in 2016. Areas under corn cultivation will be 410,800 hectares (399,000) and yield of 3,29 mt/ ha (3,21).
