Soybeans sowing in India slows down in the absence of sufficient rainfall, mostly in the key production states - Madha Pradesh and Maharashtra.

Indian farmers want the government to raise import duties on vegetable oils because their domestic prices are below government support levels.

Japan purchased 135,800 tonnes of wheat from the United States, Canada and Australia for shipment from July 21^st  to August 31^st 2017.

On June 22^nd 2017 the government of China held an auction for the sale of 1,288 million tonnes of corn from the state reserve, 2013 crop. 120.924 tonnes of corn were sold  at  price of 202.9 USD / mt.
