From the beginning of the season (September - May), sunflower oil production in Ukraine reached 4.404 million tonnes, up by 43% from the previous season.
For the whole season, production is expected to reach 5.8 million tonnes.
As of June 1st 2017, sunflower stocks in Ukraine reached 2.077 million tonnes, which is by 49% more than the previous year - 1.393 million tonnes. Rapeseed stocks were 20,400 tonnes given 41,500 tonnes as of June 1st 2016.
