The weather forecast indicates minimum rainfall in the coming days and not high temperatures. So far, there are no conditions for the quality of the grain to deteriorate. So the country will be a serious competitor to all major wheat exporters in the world such as the US, Canada and the countries from the Black Sea region.

Sunflower processors in Ukraine are the first to announce prices of sunflower, new crop. As of June 26^th, 2017 prices are 380 - 385 USD / mt, delivered to a processing plant. At this time last year the price was 380 - 410 USD / mt.

Grain harvest is carried out in Russia. As of June 26^th 2017, harvest is completed on 30.5 thousand hectares (258.8 thousand hectares in 2016) , 117.900 tonnes of grain (1.1 million tonnes) were harvested given an average yield of 3.87 mt/ ha (4.42).

According to ProZerno it is expected that in 2016 - 2017 export of grain from Russia to Egypt to reach the record 7 million tonnes given 6.25 million tonnes in 2015-2016. And 3.65 million tonnes in 2014-2015.

As of June 23^rd 2017 grain harvest in Tunisia is completed on 51% of the areas or 497,000 hectares given total areas of 976,000 hectares. Grain crop is expected to reach 17 million tonnes, up 38% compared to previous year.
