Canadian farmers increase areas under canola cultivation at the expense of wheat
According to Statistics Canadа, as of June 29th 2017 farmers have sown record areas with canola and rapeseed. For first time the areas under canola cultivation exceed these of wheat.

Canola is sown on 9.22 million hectares and wheat on 9.02 million hectares.

In the previous forecast, areas under canola cultivation were 8.98 million hectares and that of wheat 9.19 million hectares.
