According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture, from the beginning of the season until July 27, 2017 2.003 mln tonnes of grain were exported from the country , incl. wheat 631,000 mt ,barley 601,000 mt, corn 770,000 mt and others.3,400 mt wheat flour are also exported.

According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture, as of July 27, 2017. harvest is completed on 6.47 million hectares of areas under rain crops, which is 67% of the total areas. 23.04 million tonnes of grain were harvested at an average yield of 3.56 mt/ ha. With 4.2 million hectares (68%) of winter wheat, 16 million tonnes of wheat were harvested at an average yield of 3.81 mt/ ha. Spring wheat - 29,000 hectares (15%), 78,200 tonnes of wheat were harvested at an average yield of 2.7 mt/ ha. With winter barley - 855,700 hectares (96%) , 3.09 million tonnes of barley were harvested at an average yield of 3.62 mt/ ha. With spring barley,-v995,400 hectares (60%), 2.87 million tonnes of barley were harvested at an average yield of 2.88 mt/ ha. The harvested winter rapeseed amounts to 1.68 million tonnes of 84% of the areas with an average yield of 2.65 mt/ ha and spring rapeseed - 3,100 tonnes from 9% of the areas at a yield of 1.47 mt/ ha.

 

As of July 27, 2017 in Russia are harvested 8.2 million hectares under grains cultivation, which is 17.2% of the areas and 10.1 million hectares in 2016. 35.5 million tonnes of grain (39.5) were harvested at an average yield of 4.31 mt/ ha (3.92). The wheat areas harvested amount to 6.8 million hectares (24.4% and 7.7) - 30.3 million tonnes of wheat (31.7) with an average yield of 4.46 mt/ ha (4.12) are harvested. With barley - 1.0 million hectares (12.9% and 1.2) were harvested, 3.9 million tonnes of barley (4.0) were harvested at an average yield of 3.74 mt/ ha (3.49).

 

In France the harvest of soft wheat and winter barley moves towards its end. As of July 24, 2017. 85% of the common wheat crops were harvested at 63% a week earlier. This year wheat harvest is carried out 12 days earlier than the standard period for the last five years. Harvest of durum wheat and winter barley ended 10 days ago. Harvest of spring barley is carried out on 80% of the area (49% a week earlier). Grain quality deteriorates.  62% of the grain is estimated as good and excellent, at 65% a week earlier.

 

In June, barley import to China reached 626,000 tonnes (482,000 in June 2016) and of corn 383,000 tonnes (67,000), which is the maximum monthly level for the past 12 months.
