In 2017 – 2018 the global production of the key vegetable oils increases by 7 mln tonnes
According to Oil World in 2017 – 2018 the global production of the eight key vegetable oils will increase by 3.6% to 187.1 mln tonnes.

Growth will mainly be at the expense of the soybeans and palm oils, which production increases by 3.6 million tonnes and 2.1 million tonnes respectively. The production of other oils increases by totally  0.9 million tonnes.
During the season the global consumption of vegetable oils will increase by 6.9 million tonnes to 185.6 million tonnes.
Exports of vegetable oils in the world will reach 83.6 million tonnes (+3.07 million tonnes).
