Brazil: Soybean oil production in 2017 – 2018 will be at 5 years high
According to Oil World, soybean oil production in Brazil in 2017 – 2018 will increase by 0.4 million tponnes compared to last year and reach a 5 years high at 8.57 million tonnes

Soybean processing in the country will reach a record level of 42.8 million tonnes.

Despite Brazil's soybean oil production, export remain stable - 1.38 million tonnes (1.37).

Domestic consumption of soybean oil rose to 7.3 million tonnes (6.68) - a rise in its usage for biodiesel.

Soybean meal production will reach a record level, raising export to 15 million tonnes (13.75).
