As of September 25, 2017 in Russia 120.7 million tonnes of grain are harvested

As of September 25, 2017 in Russia harvest is completed on 39.3 million hectares under grain crops cultivation - 83.5% of the areas (41.6 million hectares in 2016.) 120.7 million tonnes of grain are harvested (109.2) at average yield of 3.07 mt/ha(2.62).

24.6 million hectares under wheat cultivation are harvested (89.1% and 26.1), 82.2 million tonnes of wheat are harvested (73.9) with an average yield of 3.34 mt/ ha (2.83).

7.3 million hectares under barley cultivation are harvested (91.7% and 7.9), 20.4 million tonnes of barley (18.6) were harvested at an average yield of 2.81 mt/ ha (2.35).

675,000 hectares under corn cultivation are harvested (23.2% and 570,800), 3.3 million tonnes of corn (3.0) were harvested at an average yield of 4.82 mt/ ha (5.23).

1.33 million hectares under sunflower cultivation are harvested (17.2% and 1.38), 2.77 million tonnes of sunflower (2.72) were harvested at an average yield of 2.07 mt/ ha (1.96).

So far, 82.2 million tonnes (gross weight) of wheat were harvested. About 10% of the areas are harvested. These are areas with not so high yields. By approximation, we may think that the wheat that is to be harvested until the end of the campaign will cover the loss between gross and net weight - about 4%.

So far, corn yields are about 8% lower than last year, and 6% more for the sunflower.
