Saudi Arabia has purchased 355,000 tons of wheat from Australia, Canada and Ukraine with delivery in May - December.

- From the beginning of the season up to 11.02.2021, the export sales of US soybeans reach 59.9 million tons, which is 79% more than the same period of 2019/20. 50.7 million tons of soybeans have already been exported, including 33.9 million tons for China.

- In January, 124,715 tons of wheat were exported from Brazil to the Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia and Palestine. This is the highest level of wheat exports since 2017.

- Since the beginning of the season, Saudi Arabia has purchased 2 million tons of barley from Russia (929,200 tons in 2019/20 and 1.8 million tons in 2018/19). The share of Russian supplies is 27% of total barley imports. According to the forecast of APC - Inform, the export potential of Russia reaches 4.5 million tons forc barley in 2020/21, and in the first half of the year 84% of it was realized.

- Saudi Arabia has purchased 355,000 tons of wheat from Australia, Canada and Ukraine with delivery in May - December. Deliveries from Canada will be realized for the first time since November, 2018.

- According to ProZerno's forecast, the areas planted with cereals in Russia will fall by 4% in 2020 and areas with winter crops will decrease by 13-14%. In 2020, the areas were 47.5 million hectares, which is 2.6% more than in 2019.

- Rabobank has raised its forecast for the soybean production in Brazil in 2020/21 by 1.5 million tons to 132.5 million tons.

- In 2021, Argentina may export 1 million tons of barley to China given the strong demand. So far, farmers have sold 1.1 million tons of barley, mostly to Chinese importers. In the period of February-March, barley imports will be 500,000 tons and new purchases of 400,000 tons are expected.

- According to Oil World, Turkey has purchased only 5,000 tons of sunflower oil out of the planned 25,000 tons at a price of 1,394 USD/ton C&F and delivery in March 20 - 26.

- Algeria has purchased 150,000 tons of feed barley of any origin at a price of 277 - 281 USD/ton C&F and delivery in the period of 16 - 31 March.
