- The sunseed production in Romania is projected at 3.1 million tons (1.9) - a record for the country. Sunseed productions in other countries are expected to reach:

• Bulgaria - 2 million tons (1.7)
• Hungary - 1.86 million tons (1.67)
• France - 1.6 million tons (1.6)
• Italy - 0.3 million tons (0.3)
• Spain - 0.82 million tons

- According to USDA data, as of April 11, 2021, 53% of winter wheat crops are in good and excellent condition in the United States, compared to 53% a week earlier and 59% a year earlier.
