The USDA increased the world's ending soybean stocks in 2021/22

In their July report, USDA analysts increased the world's ending soybean stocks in 2021/22 to 94.5 million tons from 92.5 million tons in the June forecast and 91.5 million tons in 2020/21.

Soybean stocks in different countries are projected to reach:

  • Brazil - 27.6 million tons (24.3 and 26.3)
  • Argentina - 25.5 million tons (23.8 and 25.5)
  • the EU - 0.92 million tons (0.87 and 0.97)
  • China - 31 million tons (34 and 29.8)

World's total soybean production will reach 385.2 million tons (-0.3 and 363.5), including Canada with a soybean production of 6.1 million tons (6.4 and 6.3).

World's soybean exports remained unchanged at 172.85 million tons compared to 165.5 million tons in 2020/21.
