The Russian government banned the export of ammonium nitrate from the country in February and March.

- Yesterday, commodity funds in Chicago were net buyers of 12,000 contracts of corn, 18,000 contracts of soybeans and 4,000 contracts of wheat.

- According to Anec, 2.42 million tons of soybeans were exported from Brazil in January (53.640 tons in January 2021). Soybean exports are projected to reach 9.92 million tons in February (4.41). In 2021, a record 86.63 million tons of soybeans were exported from Brazil (70% to China). In 2022, soybean exports are expected at 90 million tons.

- As of January 29, 2022, 12.3% of the soybean areas in Brazil have been harvested, which is 6.8% more than the previous week, according to Conab data.

- Turkey has announced a tender for the purchase of 325,000 tons of feed corn with delivery within 25.02 - 15.03.2022.

- According to Abitrigo, 443,500 tons of wheat were imported into Brazil in December (381,000 in November). 410,600 tons of wheat were delivered from Argentina and 32,800 tons from Paraguay. In 2021, wheat imports in the country were 6.21 million tons (6.04 in 2020), including 5.43 million tons from Argentina.
