In the first week of the new 2022/23 season, 363,200 tons of grains and oilseeds were exported from Canada (686,400 a year earlier).

- As of August 11, 2022, 18.1 million hectares of grain crops were harvested in Russia and a total of 75.5 million tons of grain were harvested. Harvested wheat reaches 62.8 million tons.

- As of August 11, 2022, 5.5 million hectares of grain were harvested in Ukraine (49% of all areas), with 20.8 million tons of grain harvested at an average yield of 3.81 tons/hectare. Wheat was harvested on 3.8 million hectares (82%), with 15.4 million tons of wheat harvested at an average yield of 4.01 tons/hectare. Barley was harvested on 1.4 million hectares (89%), 4.9 million tons of barley were harvested with an average yield of 3.44 tons/hectare.

- As of August 1, 2022, grain stocks in Kazakhstan was 3.06 million tons, including wheat stocks of 2.45 million tons and barley stocks of 420,800 tons.

Wheat exports were 234,800 tons (416,000), durum wheat exports were 10,600 tons (-93%), canola exports were 7,300 tons (-92%) and soybean exports reached 17,100 tons (+41%).

- In their August report, Conab analysts lowered their forecast for the second corn production in Brazil by 1 million tons to 87.4 million tons. In 2020/21, the production was only 60.7 million tons. The first corn production is estimated at 25 million tons (+0.3 compared to 2020/21). The total corn production will be 114.7 million tons (87.1). Corn exports in 2021/22 remained unchanged at 37.5 million tons (+16.7) and ending corn stocks are projected at 9.7 million tons (+1.4).

- According to SEA data, India's palm oil imports reached 530,400 tons in July (590,900 in June). Deliveries of soyoil reached a record 519,560 tons (+125%), and sunseed oil imports were 155,300 tons (+30%).
