Rye areas had been decreasing for the previous five years.

Winter rapeseed areas have grown by 73% to 8.45 mln decares compared with 2016, which corresponds to the 2015 level.

Rapeseed yield will be 1.8 mln tons, which is 690,000 tons higher than the current harvest.
