Rapeseed Import In China Reached Record Top In January
Oil World reported that 1.41 mln tons of rapeseed were exported from Canada in January 2017 – a record monthly level. Export was 0.62 mln tons in January 2016.

741,000 tons of rapeseed (373,000) were exported to China with the export to the EU measuring 105,000 tons (75,000), 86,000 tons (46,000) exported to Mexico, 191,000 tons (150,000) exported to Japan and 177,000 tons (23,000) exported to the UAE.

Rapeseed oil delivery measured 262,000 tons (192,000) in January, including 159,000 tons (138,000) to the USA and 76,000 tons (32,000) to China.

Rapeseed meal export was 436,000 tons (318,000) including 84,000 tons (0) to China, 31,000 tons (11,000) to Thailan and 278,000 tons (305,000) to the USA.
