Soybean crop from Argentina will decrease seriously

In the current year soybean crop from Argentina will be at its lowest level for the last three years according to Oil World.

The forecast is lowered  due to weaker results on yiled and cropped area - by  0.9 mln.ha and 18.3 mln.ha.

Buenos Aires Grains Exchange states that soybean areas in the country decreased by 0.8 mln.ha.

Experts from the Grains Exchange in Rosario expect soybeen yield decline of 1 mln.tonnes.

In the past week the soybean harvest campaign has been completed by 27% of the areas, and that of corn -  by 26% of the areas.The producers continue to hold soybean expecting higher prices.

During the period January - April 2017 11.29 mln. tonnes of wheat and corn are exported from Argentina, which is 21.1 mln. tonnes more compared to the same period of the previous year.The export of corn decreased by 3.31 mln. tonnes to 5.25 mln. tonnes, and that of wheat increased by 1.2 mln. tonnes to 6.04 mln. tonnes.
