During the season the production of sunflower oil will reach 5.63 mln. tonnes.

During the period, the sunflower yield in Ukraine will amount to 13.5 mln. tonnes, the sunflower export -  250 000 tonnes, the production of sunflower meal  - 5.37 mln. tonnes  and the export of meal 4.4 mln. tonnes.

The US Office forecasts that in 2016 - 2017, Ukrainian companies will export 5.1 mln. tonnes of sunflower oil given 5.76 mln. tonnes of production. Sunflower yield will amount to 13.75 mln. tonnes, and sunflower production will be 5.49 mln. tonnes. The export of sunflower will reach 220,000 tonnes, and of meal - 4.8 mln. tonnes.

According to the Ukroliyaprom association, in 2016 a record amount of sunflower oil was exported from Ukraine - 4.8 mln. tonnes, which is 23% more than in 2015.
