The global soybean export increased by 15% in April

According to Oil World, in April 2017 the global soybean export rose by 14 % compared to March up to 15.1 mln. tonnes and by 15% compared to April 2016

Brazil's export increased the most – up to 10.43 mln.  tonnes (10.09). Due to this, total export from South America increased by 8% to 12.6 mln. tonnes. Export from Argentina is above expectations as well - 0.86 mln. tonnes (0.68), from Paraguay -  0.72 mln. tonnes (0.77), and Uruguay 0.61 mln. tonnes (0.16). US soybean export continues to increase – up to 2.47 mln. tonnes (1.43).

During the month, the largest importer of soybeans is China with a volume of 10.03 mln. tonnes (8.63). There are increased supplies for the EU, Egypt, Pakistan and others, while on the other hand there are reductions in export for Mexico, Indonesia, Iran, Japan and Taiwan.
