On May 25th, 2017 the South Korean MFG bought 65,000 tonnes of feed wheat of optional origin at price of 188.5 USD/mt, C&F for shipment by November 20th, 2017, most likely from the Black Sea region.
On May 26th, 2017 the government of China sold 233 660 tonnes of corn, 2011 - 2012 crop, at average price of 168.41 USD/mt and 2.103 million tonnes of corn, 2013 crop, at price of 200.48 USD/mt.
According to forecast of APK - Inform, in 2017 the grain yield in Ukraine will amount to 62.7 million tonnes, which is the average for the last five years and will allow an export potential of 39 million tonness, incl. wheat - 14.5 million tonnes, barley - 4.5 million tonnes and corn - 19 million tonnes.
Japan purchased 117,800 tonnes of milling wheat from the United States and Australia.
