On July 5th 2017 Egypt purchased 350,000 tonnes of Russian wheat and 60,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat.
On July 5th 2017, Egypt's GASC held a tender for the purchase of milling wheat, for August 5th - 15th shipment

350,000 tonnes of Russian wheat and 60,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat were purchased.

Since the beginning of the season, Egypt has purchased 1.43 million tonnes of wheat at five auctions.

The lowest price offered is for Russian wheat - 197.97 USD / mt, FOB. Incl. freight, the price is 211.05 USD / mt, C&F.
