According to forecast of APC Inform, in July-August, export will reach 0.65 million tonnes. Thus, the total export of unrefined sunflower oil from Ukraine will be 5.6 million tonnes.

During the reported period the product was exported to 125 countries worldwide. The major buyers were India 1.5 million tonnes (+ 44% compared to September - May 2015 - 2016), China 0.5 million tonnes, Spain, the Netherlands, and Italy. There is a large rise of import in Iran + 131%, Egypt + 116% and Turkey + 43%.

From January to June, 54,090 tonnes of sunflower were exported from Ukraine. In May, export was 5.420 tonnes at 5,860 tonnes in May 2016. Major customers were Turkey, Germany and Italy. In 2016 – 2017 the sunflower crop in the country is 13.8 - 14.1 million tonnes
