Malaysia: Palm oil production in 2017 won't reach a record level

Palm oil production forecasts for the current season are lowered in Malaysia

In the March forecast, the crop was in the range of 19.9-20 million tonnes given  the record level reached in 2015 - 19.96 million tonnes.

Now the forecast is for 18.7 - 19.5 million tonnes (+ 10% compared to 2016 - 17.3 million tonnes). Peak in the  production is expected in October

Greater crop recovery is expected in Indonesia after the drought in 2016.
