The late harvest does not hinder exporters. In July 2016, export was 2.55 million tonnes.

In July 2017, 1.4 million tonnes of wheat, 0.67 million tonnes of barley and 0.38 million tonnes of corn were exported.

According to a forecast by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, in 2017 - 2018 export of grain from Russia will exceed 35 million tonnes. In 2016 – 2017 the export reached 35.5 million tonnes, incl. 27.1 million tonnes of wheat.
