Analysts from Refinitiv have lowered their forecast for the soybean and corn production in Brazil in 2021/22.

- Yesterday, commodity funds in Chicago were net sellers of 5,500 contracts of corn and 5,000 contracts of wheat and net buyers of 2,000 contracts of soybeans.

- Analysts from Refinitiv have lowered their forecast for the soybean and corn production in Brazil in 2021/22. Soybean production is now projected to reach 141.5 million tons (-2%) and corn production is expected at 115.8 million tons (-0.6 million tons and 87 million tons in 2020/21).

- According to Oil World, in November 2021, Turkey imported 93,000 tons of sunseed oil, which is twice as much as in October and is the highest level in five years. 81,000 tons of oil were delivered from Russia and 11,000 tons from Ukraine. During the month, sunseed imports reached 45,000 tons compared to 87,000 tons in November 2020, including 16,000 tons from Ukraine and 15,000 tons from Moldova and 7,000 tons from Romania. Over the period of September-November, the import of sunseed oil was 156,000 tons (115,000), incuding 135,000 tons from Russia. The import of sunseed reached 80,000 tons (124,000), including 28,000 tons from Russia, 20,000 tons from Ukraine and 16,000 tons from Moldova .
