In 2017 – 2018 sunflower production in the ex-USSR countries will drop by 1.3 million tonnes, down to 26.23 million tonnes, that will be the second best result in history, according to Oil World.
According to estimate of Oil World, in 2017 – 2018 global production oil meals will reach the record 349.900 million tonnes, by 10.8 million tonnes more than in 2016 – 2017.
According to Oil World, in October - May 2016 – 2017 sunflower oil export from the three major exporters - Russia Ukraine and Argentina will be 6.17 million tonnes, by 1.3 million tonnes more than the previous year and an all time record high.
On Tuesday wheat and soybeans prices in Chicago rose and corn remained stable. In Paris rapeseed went up. There were no significant variations of wheat and corn prices.
Wheat harvest in France has already started. Yield is below the average, but grain quality is very good. Relative weight is 800kg/m3, at protein content of 12%.
