Weekly American 2016 wheat export sales were at the upper end of the expectation level – 250,000 – 450,000 tons. The result has been achieved despite the large volume of cancelled contracts.
According to information from the Chinese National Information Centre for Grains and Oilseeds, grain import in the country grew rapidly in the past month.
According to FAS USDA's latest forecast, wheat import in Egypt will reach 11.5 mln tons in 2017 – 2018, which is 0.5 mln tons more than the current season.
