In its April report, APK - Inform analysts decreased their forecast on this season's grain export from Russia to 35.1 mln tons, which is 7.7% lower than the previous forecast.
According to information from market operators, South Korean Association KFA will carry out an auction for the purchase of 130,000 tons of corn of random origin to be delivered in July or August.
Large and medium-sized sunflower processing companies in Ukraine exported 683,700 tons of sunflower oil in March, which was 59.2% more than March 2016 and 54.7% more than February 2017. Since the start of the season, oil export from Ukraine has been 29% more than last year.

Over the year 2017, sunflower areas in Ukraine will go down by 5 – 7% versus 2016 to 5.75 mln hectares while the yield will drop by 9% to 12.8 mln tons.
Following two consecutive weeks of very good export sales of American wheat, last week brought sales lower than the upper level expected on the market – 250,000 – 450,000 tons, which is related to wheat growing more expensive in Chicago.
